The kitchen area, just a short distance from the yurt, was extremely well stocked with cooking utensils and crockery. It also housed a microwave, kettle, toaster, double gas range and fridge freezer which made it a real home from home. The shower/bathroom area was beautifully built with an incredibly powerful shower and endless hot water. \r\nThe location is stunning, we had the pleasure to view owls, bats and pheasants, and listen to the accompanying soundtrack of a cockerel, sheep and the many different species of birds which was incredibly relaxing. I could not rate this place higher, it a gem!! Not only are the yurts beautifully presented and set within a gorgeous meadow and wooded countryside, but the facilities are fantastically clean and organised, with everything you'd need to make your stay a comfortable home from home experience. The shower and loo cabin is really intelligently designed and spacious with plently of room for a families worth of toiletries and towels, theres a shower stool, shoe rack, individual towel driers and even a (good) hairdryer. The kitchen is superbly appointed and ultra clean (which is usually where places get my thumbs down) again with plenty of storage room in both the cupboard and fridge/ freezer. Is cosy and warm, fro when the rain sets in, so you can eat breakfast or supper at the farmhouse table and look out over the meadow.\r\nThe hosts were helpful and friendly.. the only down side as far as we are concerned is that we couldn't take Florence (their gorgeous dog) home with us!\r\nI can seem quite tricky to please with accommodation (as family and friends regularly tell me!) but honestly, I couldn't fault this wonderful, enchanting place...and I didn't even manage to mention the fire pit, outdoor pizza oven or yurt stove...! Our 1 year old just spent 3 days wandering around and giggling!!\r\n\r\nThe yurt itself is lovely, incredibly clean and the beds are extremely comfy.\r\n\r\nWe spent the evenings lying on the loungers watching the beautiful sky and even seeing a few shooting stars.....along with bats and a barn owl having a feed!\r\n\r\nAmanda and Allan were just lovely and very welcoming. We used the yurts for exploring nearby beaches and towns and can honestly say was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Thanks to Amanda and Allan for attentiveness and hospitality.
