I had an entire valley to myself, also sharing with the cows, horses, kangaroos, frogs and many curious insects. John was an absolute legend, took me for a cross country motorbike adventure to show me around his property. Although it was raining a lot I enjoyed spending time bathing in the creek, sheltering under trees, and talking to the many animals. John provided us with a map which led us direct to the track up-to the mountain . The drive up to the top definitely needs a 4wd . The shack had everything you needed . We stayed in a swag outside but you can sleep inside on sofa bed . The fresh water shower was amazing and cold and was perfect before enjoying my cup of coffee on the outside area . The cows came and said hi and was very comical . We had an amazing time and waking up in the clouds .
