Loved listening to the birds sing and watch them flit from tree to tree. The setting made any stress just melt away. There was some noise from the light traffic on the other side of trees. We bought some of their honey, eggs from their chickens, and sourdough bread (that Courtney made that day), it was all absolutely delicious! Also, the firewood we got from them was the best we have every bought in all the years we have been camping. The field provides a big open sky and the fire pit is just next to the tree line. Courtney was very attentive but also we were left to enjoy our time. The farm is very charming with all kinds of cute and amazing animals wandering about. The site is a little down the road from the farm and you can hear the roosters crow from the fire. A great spot close to the city that feels like miles from everything.
