This is a nicely maintained state park. All the amenities you'd expect. No complaints. Truck stop a few miles away that had a really good breakfast and giant cinnamon rolls!
Lots of space and good fishing. Secure camping and clean on site bathroom facilities. Close enough to town for convenience but far enough away you get to see a lot of stars.
Overall, this campsite offers a beautiful setting with stunning lake views and a variety of activities, making it a popular choice among campers. Reviewers consistently praise the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff. However, some sites are noted to be small and closely packed, and noise from nearby railroad tracks can be a concern for light sleepers. Additionally, the park's roads are in need of maintenance, and campers should be aware of the reservation policy.
