I enjoyed the privacy and the view of the lake from my site. Had a chance to meet Amy and Jake (and all of their farm animals). Very friendly and welcoming.
This was our second time camping at Jake and Amy’s, and we loved it just as much as the first time. We love feeding the animals and using the kayaks! Very quiet and peaceful.
Overall, this campsite offers a beautiful and serene environment, perfect for campers seeking privacy and a connection with nature. Reviewers consistently praise the friendly hosts, Amy and Jake, and the availability of kayaks and farm animals adds a unique charm to the experience. While the setting is generally peaceful, some guests noted disturbances from duck hunting and the visibility of other sites, which may affect the sense of seclusion. Additionally, campers should be prepared for mosquitoes and the distance to bathroom facilities. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overwhelming sentiment is one of satisfaction, making it a highly recommended spot for a relaxing getaway.
