The valley echoes and, while no fault of Deanna, there were some dogs in the area that barked incessantly most of the night. Luckily we were pooped and our dogs were not disturbed so we eventually fell asleep. It was the 4th of July so maybe the dogs were spooked by fireworks. Followed advice of previous reviewers and brought leveling blocks which were a necessity. Overall, it was precisely what we expected when we chose this location and would consider returning. We took a little trip to Cripple Creek which is very close by as is the Florissant Fossil beds and the Wolf Sanctuary. The sight was quite level which makes life easy w/ a truck camper. The sight was mostly open w/ some trees for shade which was nice.
