Most of the campsite have RV hookups and each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dumps station. There’s also a picnic area, playground, visitor center and boat ramp. Group camping is also available. Eagle Creek State Park – Area Recreation Eagle Creek State Park is located in east central Illinois and offers the perfect setting for outdoor recreation, natural relaxation and luxurious accommodations for a day, a weekend, or even longer. Lake Shelbyville encompass 11,100-acres of water, 250 miles of shoreline and large tracts of indigenous woodland ideal. Outdoor recreation includes camping, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, fishing, water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and windsurfing. There’s also some nice wildlife viewing in the area. You may also be interested in Wolf Creek State Park or Coon Creek Recreation Area. Both are located next to Lake Shelbyville.
