Two big dogs greeted me and became my buddies for the stay. Noreen told me about their organic crops, and indeed the farm was bustling, getting ready for a soil class and a rye harvest. The spot where I was invited to park was under a beautiful oak tree on a groomed lawn. While not totally private, there was plenty of space between me and the main house and I had a front row view of the action as trucks moved around and equipment was readied the next morning. The puppers stayed on guard throughout the night, alerting us when a rogue deer threaten to enter the yard. I slept well and felt very secure. I loved the experience of being on a working farm, especially one whose mission and values centered on sustainability. Noreen was kind and generous and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t recommend this place enough and wish I could’ve stayed longer.
