The location is far enough into the desert to feel secluded and private, but close enough to town to feel safe and have access to a lot of things (dining, groceries etc.), The whole place seems to be fenced off, with other camping sites within that were unoccupied the weekend we were there. The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed with everything from firewood, propane for the grill, extra linens, TP, inflatable mattress, you name it. It was a little windy so we didn’t get to use the fire pit but were glad one was available (We left the firewood we brought with us there for the next person 😊). Also, because of the wind we couldn’t keep the grill on but we were prepared with a tabletop burner. The bed was comfortable and the dome was nice and sturdy and comfortably furnished, we woke up to a light thunderstorm storm and the sound of the rain against the dome was glorious.. no water leaks or draft. There is no running water, or electricity so be prepared for that but there are plenty of solar lights outside to light up the deck and a motion sensor light right outside the door. It looks like they’re also working on setting up a shower and sink. Overall, we had a nice stress free space to relax and can’t wait to go back. Don’t let the lack of reviews keep you from a great experience!
