Camped no more than 6 steps from the river. A must do, is take a dip in the never never river, it is so nice. \n\nLoved Bellingen, it is absolutely beautiful, please please please keep it clean in this town, it’s absolutely gorgeous to venture into.\n\nI’m sure with the weather being fine and had the booking been in advance it would have been the perfect place to camp. Minus the leaches or ticks, didn’t see a tick, did have two leaches on me within 2 minutes. \n\nI would expect a certain number of bugs in a rainforest obviously. Don’t be a coward, let life in, it was a hilarious moment finding the leach with my hubby, I got to squirm and scream and laugh till I almost pee’d while he tried to flick it off me.
