If you are looking for a safe place to park your camper and you don’t mind driving 20 minutes into Asheville, this could be a good fit. \n\nThat said, the listing is misleading. There is no privacy. This spot is backed up against a house that they rent on AirBnB. It is also situated on the neighborhood gravel road, so every morning and evening every person either renting or living in the neighborhood will drive by about 30 ft from your “camp”. They are basically renting out a spot in the driveway of their old family house. At one point the the neighbors lawn service was mowing just outside of my camper. \n\nAfter booking on Hipcamp I did not see an address listed and had no way to search the exact location before Louedith’s strict 1 week cancellation “policy”. \n\nThe pictures used in the listing do not clearly represent the property. The withholding of the exact address and cancelation policy make it difficult for the renter to comfortably get out of it isn’t a good fit. \n\nI recommend just being honest about your listing, share the address immediately upon booking and be clear about the surrounding rentals and houses - this is not a “camp site” but your parents old driveway.\n\nFor example, a bright motion light goes off if you step out of your camper. The neighbors can literally look into your camper windows from the back porch. It could be awkward for anyone renting the adjacent house or this parking spot.
