The toilet was filled with trash and tied up bags near it. Burnt up boxed springs, a lot of broken glass everywhere, a broken ez up style frame was there behind the el crapper sign. The place is great for stargazing but unsafe due to all the broken glass everywhere. The closest campers are at least a 15 min. walk away, and even the dirt bikers that rode by never got close enough to where we felt uncomfortable. You’ll be surrounded by small mountain views and the stars are amazing at night. I don’t remember the last time I actually saw the milkiness of the Milky Way. We ended up extending our stay a little longer because we wanted to take our time leaving. It was the first time I’ve heard the kids say “I don’t wanna go home yet,” and we’ve gone to amusement parks and stayed in an all-inclusive resort before. Finally, the host was available and very accommodating to help with directions and extending our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here again.
