Cedar Creek Flat absolutely blew me away and exceeded expectations. The perfect spot for a quiet relaxing get away. Not overcrowded, gorgeous riverfront camping with a swimming hole to die for, communal space, jungle gym, trampoline (my inner child loved that) and only 20 mins down the road to the charming little Chillingham Store for supplies. Also met a few of the people who live on the land and they’re very friendly. Most peaceful campsite I’ve stayed at. The creek is beautiful and good swimming hole. There were only 3 other campers there and they were very welcoming and up for a chat. I’ve seen some bad reviews about the toilets being not the best but they are composting toilets! And in a national park deep in the bush I don’t really know what else you’d expect. I was very happy with them, plus the host explains what the waste is used for afterwards and how it helps the planet which I am all here for! \n\nI’m planing on returning to this campsite on my trip back north and I can’t wait!
