As some have mentioned, we don’t have kids but this is definitely a kid/family friendly park with a playground, game room, basketball court, volleyball court, etc. We were there in October so the colors of the trees were gorgeous! The bathrooms and showers were kept clean. The dish washing station and dog washing station were a nice unique touch. The lots weren’t huge but not terribly close to each other - we had plenty of space for our two slide outs and awning. Wi-fi was basically useless, as is the case in most campgrounds, but cell service was really good. We have Verizon and we consistently had 3-4 bars of LTE. If your in the row by the park you can sit at your site and watch your kids swing on the tree swings, play at playground, ride bike or scooter or play basketball on court. Watch them ohhh and ahhh at the frogs the size of my hand at the frog pond then when you are ready take them over to the pond for kayaking or paddle canoe. They have incredible bear carvings from trees and a free shuttle into Freeport. Enjoy your stay at this Christian owned and operated family camp.
