Set in the stunning coutryside in the Derbyshire Dales, our site is situated a short walk from Carsington Water Reservoir\.\. A short drive to Ashbourne on one side or Wirksworth on the other, there are plenty of beautiful towns and villages to explore, whatever the weather\.We have a gently sloped six\-acre site, which incorporates a large fenced pond and is an attractive feature for all types of wildlife\. The site is well drained and situated facing South\. Roadways make finding the perfect spot easy\. We have a toilet and shower block, built in 2006, in addition, we have numerous water taps located around the site\. We also have an Elsan Disposal Area and Electric Hook Ups are available\.Free WiFi available on some areas of the site\. Please ask for details\.In 2013 we are open from Friday 1st March to Sunday the 3rd November\. \(Last night for booking 2nd November\)\.Children & Dogs are welcome\. We have a dog run on site\.We currently have some seasonal pitches available for 2013\. Please give us a call to discuss further or send us an email\.Every Friday until the end of September, we have a facility to order Fish/Sausage & Chips, which are then delivered to your pitch between the times 5 to 6, 6 to 7 and 7 to 8\. As this is from a mobile van, please be aware that due to circumstances outside of our control, this can be delayed and occasionally a full menu may not be available\.Please note that this is a Family and Couples site\.DirectionsTravelling from Belper, turn right off the A517 Belper to Ashbourne at Hulland Ward into Dog Lane, about ¾ mile turn right on to Millfields Lane\. The site is on the right hand side after ¾ mile and is signposted Carsington Fields\.O/S 119 251493Please take care when using Satellite Navigation as this is not always reliable in this area\. If approaching from the M1 via the A38, Sat Nav may send you through Cromford rather than Belper\. Please be aware that there is a fairly steep bank out of Cromford and this route will bring you into the site from the North, past Carsington Water\.
