The site is just outside downtown Bailey, Colorado and 5 miles from Wellington Lake and Guanella Pass\. Some highlights are proximity to a plethora of local hiking trails and world\-class mountain biking\. Visitors can also enjoy fishing, hunting, kayaking / rafting, and wildlife viewing\! About the tent: The tent sleeps 3 people on the top level with an option to sleep an additional 3 on the bottom \(though we recommend using that level for lounging and bag storage\)\. It includes a tent fly and short ladder to access the tent\. Amenities include a cooking area, a metal\-bottom firepit, a clear roof composting outhouse; solar shower, and a dog enclosure with dog house\. The tent is set on a fairly steep slope \- limited flat ground\! Getting there: Be prepared to drive on a short but steep dirt road up to this mountaintop gem\. All cars can access the lower parking lot less than 1/2 mile from the tent\. For those who have a 4x4 vehicle, you can park right at the bottom of a \(though steep\) short \.1 mile walk from the tent\.
