If I had a campground of my own, this is what I would want it to be. I thought our site (Magical Mushroom) was adorable, roomy, and convenient to the bathrooms. The whole campground was filled with beautiful cacti, some of which we were pleasantly surprised to see light up with small twinkle lights at night. The site had 2 adirondack chairs and a large wooden table. The bathrooms were just steps away and had amazing, hot showers! The group game area was adjacent to the site and had cornhole and ladderball set up and ready to play. (which we did, of course!) We arrived our first night after the mercantile closed, but our host responded immediately to my message and came and opened up for us so we could get ice. We didn't sleep in the Magical Mushroom, but I loved it's presence. It is super cute. Overall, it was a great experience and I would love to stay again. Host Michelle very responsive and communicative, so helpful. Easy to find, sweet spot near the Saguaro NP, set amidst a variety of native plants...lots of cacti! They must feed/water the birds cuz birdsong abounded. Even entertained by the occasional wild turkey gobble. They paid so much attention to detail as they developed this camp. lots of cool lighting, funky touches, homemade/handmade screens and object d'art sprinkled throughout. Functional and funky showers, toilets and dish wash-up station are practically luxurious. On demand hot water heater so seemingly endless hot showers. The sweet vibe Michelle and her team created seems to set to the tone for visiting campers, everyone was pretty chill. Do yourself a favor, camp here. You won't regret it. " } ] }
