Dale was very helpful and communicative with me, checking back to ensure we were able to get access from the gate. You won't need a 4-wheel drive vehicle but definitely expect a few bumps and some steep areas on the approach. It is a bit sun exposed in summer so if you can bring a canopy, it can help provide some cover. This site was a perfect way to get our friends to try something new, and it delivered. \n\nExcept the one nearby site, which was unoccupied while we were there, it was just our crew in the wilderness. Gone were the sounds of the city, replaced with the calming chirps of birds, rustling wind in the branches of the oak trees, and silence.
