The spot feels sheltered, and there’s a tiny stream that runs nearby. If you want a view to the horizon, it’s a five minute walk to the top of the hill on the property, with lovely views in all directions.\n\nThe owners keep a small network of paths mowed that wind through the property, some in shady groves of aspen and others through grassy fields. It’s great for short hikes or ambles with small children. \n\nThe reception from the hosts was warm and helpful - clear communication. Note that the paths are also the ‘roads’ to the sites. Our Outback was fine, but cars with lower clearance should double-check with the hosts. \n\nWe had a lovely two days there - would definitely go back. Recommended for a quiet country getaway.
