"reviewBody": "We spent 2 nights here in March, nice shady campsite. Facilities were average, roads and pathways need some maintenance, some sections quite unsafe. If you don’t mind kids running through your campsite yelling and screaming then this place might be ok for you. Kids seemed to be having a great time though, swimming, kayaking and swinging from rope swings into the creek. The water was very weedy and dirty. We would not make a return visit."

Dogs allowed and kept on leash AT ALL TIMES (some struggle with this), creek perfect to paddle for children. Will be back off peak again. \n\nToo many people for how little amenities (toilet and shower) they have during peak periods."

"reviewBody": "Hi all, this park has been under new management since April 2020 and has had a significant amount of money spent upgrading the entire park, cabins, playground and roadways. Is very popular with families from the surrounding areas on a Friday and Saturday night, the rest of the week is usually quite if you want some peace and tranquillity. There are 135 sites, some bigger than the average house block and one is called the “back paddock” for a reason, with a variety of locations, a lot offer privacy and quiet surrounds. There are farm animals and birds to watch, pat and feed, interact with. Great swimming area with rope swings and also suitable for kayaks. Imbil is 10ks away and has a great bakery, pub with meals, plus chemist, PO, medical centre and other country shops as necessary. The lake is only 3ks in the other direction and is stocked with a variety of fish, also 4wd tracks and great for motorbikes. Land cruiser park is also close by via Bella creek road. Plus there are cooking facilities, 3 bbq areas and camp kitchen with 2 ovens and 4 burner stove tops, microwaves, jugs, toasters etc. fire wood and fire rings are available for the winter nights. You will need to look hard to find a better camp ground within one to two hours of Brisbane. Check in can be as late as 10pm on a Friday night for those coming after work. Very family friendly and don’t forget your dogs if they are friendly also."
