The Withlacoochee Bay Trail paved \.\. runs along the barge canal to the Gulf of Mexico 5 miles \-\- so 10 round trip At the head of the trail there is a well kept bathroom house and picnic area and plenty of paved parking \. 10 miles south is Crystal River \.\.\. boat tours, rentals Also close to the Devils Den, Two Tails Ranch \(Elephant rescue\), Friends of the Jungle \(lab monkey recues\) The Elephant and monkey require reservations\. Just heard of the Funny Farm Alpaca in Lacanto, FL\. \-\-They used to raise and show them but now a rescue for Alpaca\. You get to actually walk in where they are\. They just ask for a donation\.
