This is a splendidly spacious site, part of a working farm that extends out over 80 acres with huge flat grass caravan pitches accessed via coded gates and surrounded by yet more farmland\. Folk travelling here have access to facilities including a toilet and shower block \(with separate loos and showers elsewhere\), fresh water points and a chemical waste disposal point \(for cassettes only – not suitable as a motorhome drop point\)\. Friendly, well\-behaved dogs are welcome but they'll need to be kept on a lead at all times; there’s also the chance to book a farm tour and get to know some of the resident animals while you’re on site\. The creatures in question are the rare\-breed cattle and sheep that graze in the surrounding fields; home\-reared beef and lamb, plus local pork sausages, bacon and eggs can all be bought on site\. Sound like just the thing for a barbecue? Fine plan – gas\-powered grills are permitted as long as they’re kept off ground \(subject to weather conditions\)\. Any other bits you need to finish your meal can be picked up at shops in Sutton Valence or Headcorn, both within a 10\-minute drive \(you might also like to consider sticking around for pub dinners or a cuppa in the cafés of either village too\)\. Please note that the use of drones is not permitted at this site\.
