host was super friendly and prepared a huge pile of wood for our fire for a reasonable price. We couldn’t figure out the walk down to the Potomac river but it’s an easy drive to trails and spots along the river and you can’t beat the view from this campsite! We were the only ones there which was perfect, it would probably feel different if all three spaces were occupied but if you do it all with one group it would be really fun.
