The property is in a fantastic location to the Wangaratta township as it is only 1\.5 kms drive into town to get all your supplies if required including, Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Dan Murphys, Kmart, Camping Stores, Petrol Stations, Cinema, Bowling Alley and the wonderful choice of Hotels, Restaurants and Take away options if required\. Mains water is available at the property to top up your Vans or Gerry cans should you need to replenish, so never run out of water 😊 It is surrounded by picturesque green countryside laden with ancient Red Rivergum Trees and billabongs with access to river frontage for fishing and the King River Site and White Cedar sites have a swimming hole for those hot summer days\. The Secret Island site does have a swimming spot but not as safe for little ones\. The river is ideal for swimming, tubing, floating and fishing\. Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30\-60 minutes drive from the property\. Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided at the site plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around\. The King River Site is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans \(10 at least\)\. It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us\. Accessible for most types of vehicles\. Dog friendly if well behaved and controlled and won't chase the Cattle\. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, firewood for sale \(see Extras\)\.
