In addition there are miles of footpaths; thrills galore with ‘Go Ape’ and fun and innovative play areas for the younger members of the family\.Bewl Water is only a few miles away and is the south\-east’s largest reservoir\. There is lots to do both on and off the water including sailing, leisurely boat rides, children’s play area and an on\-site restaurant, as well as high energy activities with ‘Treejumpers’\.The fabulous location means that you will be able to reach several stunning castles and country houses all within 15 minutes by car; these include Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst Castle & Garden, Finchcocks and Pashley Manor\.The Georgian spa town of Tunbridge Wells is only 10 miles away and has all you need in terms of sophisticated boutiques and high street shops as well as some tempting places to eat and drink\.How we do itThe site, suitable for tents and camper vans, is set on a working farm away from any main roads\.On arrival you will be allocated to a field where you can choose your own pitch, parking right next to your tent / campervan\. At the onsite shop you can purchase the essentials including Milk, Bread and Eggs together with the campfire basics; logs for the campfire, kindling, Hay bales and marshmallows\.There are free hot showers, toilets both flushable and eco, standpipes and washing up areas with hot water located conveniently across the site\.On site is a large teepee which is available every evening or when the weather is not so good\. During most weekends in August, free entertainment by local musicians is put on, with a local caterer providing take away food\.Dogs are welcome but owners are asked to act responsibly towards other campers\.Our pricesAdults are charged between £8 \- £14 per night and Children \(aged 3\-15\) are charged between £ 4 – 7 per night\. The actual charge depends on the day of the week and whether it is a bank holiday\. There is also a one\-off £5 charge for each vehicle bought to the site\.There is no charge for infants under 3 years of age\.For full details of prices and booking your stay please go the Bedgebury camping website\.DirectionsFinding us by RoadFrom Junction 5 on the M25, take the A21 heading towards Hastings\. Continue along this road for about 20 miles, passing Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, until you come to the Forstal Farm roundabout\. Take the exit signposted to Goudhurst\. When you reach the village of Goudhurst, turn right at the duck pond into Balcombe’s Hill \(which then becomes Bedgebury Road\) and continue for about 1 mile\. ‘Bedgebury Camping’ is signposted\. Via sat Nav type in TN17 2QX or Bedgebury CampingBedgebury camping by railThe closest station is Marden which is a 15 minute Taxi ride or a 6 mile mountain biking ride\. Trains for this station come from London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge with one leaving every 60 minutes and take around 1 hour\.Paddock wood station has more regular trains leaving every 30 minutes from the same London stations, but is 11 miles away or a 20\-25 minute taxi ride\.Bedgebury camping by footBedgebury camping is located on the Goudhurst and Kilndown six mile millennium walk as detailed in the Ordnance Survey Explorer map 136\.The campsite is located down a concrete farm road, drive in and you will come to the campsite reception, parking is available on the left\. It is then a short drive to your designated camping area\.
