We did a drive by yesterday to see if our big rig could get in. Yes. Currently there’s no council Caretaker so looks like a free camp Atm. Right on the beach. Small Campsite and quiet area.
Great little campsite that backs onto a wonderful beach, as well as being 10 mins walk from a cove with some very impressive whale bones. All sites are unpowered, and cost $15/night as of June 2022...
This campsite offers a beautiful location right by the beach and is well-maintained by the caretaker, making it a great spot for those seeking a peaceful getaway. However, the first-come-first-served policy can create uncertainty regarding site availability, and some campers have experienced inconvenience due to cash payment requirements. While the amenities are limited, the affordability and cleanliness are notable positives.

- Affordable pricing at $15/night
- Mix of shaded and open camping sites

- Suitable for larger rigs
- First-come-first-served policy can lead to uncertainty about availability
- Caretaker may be unavailable during meal times

- Cash payment required, which can be inconvenient
