and so didn’t get to completely explore the area, however what we did see is really pretty. \nThe site was easy to find and there are some nice personal touches. \nThis is their first season and the host was keen to get our feedback so they could learn and improve the place. Things of note, there is only one portaloo, which wasn’t a massive issue but would definitely benefit from another. Maybe if you have little people that can’t wait long, as it could be that your pitch is a bit of a walk away, then take your own camping loo.\nAt the moment you can’t drive into the pitch as the surface is uneven in places, we weren’t prepared for this so it was definitely a workout to set up camp. There was one wheelbarrow for communal use and the host went and got another one while we were setting up realising it was a bit of an effort as everyone had pretty much arrived at once! I would recommend bringing a camping trolley if you have one.
