We have been to over a hundred camp grounds/sites over the years, from the Canadian border all the way to north carolina. We have done all types of camp grounds, from public, to state, family and private. We like to detach and get away from it all between spring and fall every other weekend or so. We recently decided to give hip camp a try and camp a different spot from our usual. I can’t explain what a good choice it was, especially with Emmas forested lot. If you like seclusion and being in a peaceful area with nothing but trees blowing in the wind around you, dragon flys, butterflies and birds chirping all around, you will love this place. We heard nothing but nature all around us but still only being a 10 minute drive from the grocery store, beach or other needs. This is a camp for those that like seclusion and to truly get away from it all. Emma was a amazing host that had excellent communication. She gave us clear and descriptive directions to find our site with ease along with checked on us during the stay to make sure we were comfortable. There is very weak cell reception with verizon but was a plus for us. You do have at least 1 bar which allows texts to go through however. We will be making this one of our camp sites for as long as Emma is hosting, We highly recommend her property as its not just rich in history but beauty and peace. Emma and her site gets 5 stars all day! If you are looking for a spot to just be you and the birds with lush green all around this is your spot My other half and I plan to make this a regular spot for holidays being a short trip for us. Its close to the beachs, stores and tons of recreation. If you have a well behaved dog like us, they will allow them and the dogs will love it as did ours. I could go on and on about this site. Its not for ones that need hook ups as this is a off the grid site. So in closing, if you prefer to be alone and with nature, nothing but peace.
